It’s no secret that Dubai has come to be a celebrity hotspot over recent years, with many famous faces enjoying sun-soaked getaways and romantic trips to Dubai.
Reality TV stars have especially been keen to jet off to the location, with numerous The Only Way Is Essex, Love Island and Geordie Shore stars being spotted soaking up the sun on multiple occasions.
However, some have decided to make Dubai their home and it’s easy to see why. From Love Island’s Laura Anderson to TOWIE’s Chloe Lewis, here we take a look into some of the reality TV stars who’ve left the UK behind in favour of a life in the sun…

Love Island star Laura Anderson previously split her time between Dubai, London and Scotland, but she now permanently resides in Dubai with her beau Dane Bowers.
Laura, 32, and Another Level star Dane, 42, rekindled their romance last year after splitting up in 2018, and quickly moved in together.
The loved-up pair live in a gorgeous pad in Dubai, which is filled with stylish decor.
When they moved in to their new home in May 2021, Laura took to her Instagram Stories to give fans a tour of the lavish property.
The living area features cream marble flooring and a huge rustic round coffee table in the centre, while the hallway is spacious and bright.
Laura and Dane have been busy decorating their home, and have even created an outdoor cinema area in their garden, which includes enormous beanbag chairs.
Laura recently unveiled her incredible walk in wardrobe, having had the space transformed by professionals. On one wall, all of the star’s shoes are displayed on selves, while all of her stylish clothes are hung up neatly on different rails.
In another corner, a large dressing table is visible which sits beside a huge mirror, making for the perfect spot for Laura’s glamorous selfies.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Lewis revealed that she’d relocated to Dubai in December 2020.
The 31 year old explained at the time how her beau Danny Fisher, who she’s been dating since 2017, had been offered an “amazing job” out in Dubai, and the pair had decided to make the move.
She told her followers: “Danny was offered an amazing job here… we talked about it & seemed like an amazing opportunity. We haven’t put a time frame on how long we will be here for. But for now it’s home.”
The couple are parents to two year old son Beau, and Chloe regularly documents their family life in Dubai on Instagram.
The adorable family live in a lavish property which boasts an incredible outdoor swimming and sprawling garden.
Chloe previously showed off her stunning kitchen on Instagram, which features sleek white cupboards and glossy marble worktops.
The TOWIE star does return to Essex every few months to see family and friends, but regularly gushes over her sun-soaked life in Dubai, revealing that Beau loves it over there.
She told her Instagram followers: “He’s absolutely loving life. He’s goes swimming everyday & we spend the afternoons playing on the beach.”
Amber Gill won Love Island back in 2019, and her career has continued to go from strength to strength ever since.
The 24 year old, who is originally from Newcastle, previously resided in London after the ITV2 show finished, but has since taken the plunge and moved to Dubai.
Having lived over there for some time, she revealed in February that she was searching for an apartment to purchase.
Amber explained to fans in a video how she was struggling to decide on a new home, and had been viewing properties across four different locations. She eventually settled on La Mer, despite admitting that it was quite far out.
Speaking on her YouTube channel, she said: “The place is gorgeous. It’s bright and colourful. The most beautiful place ever. It’s the perfect place. I really wanna get it. When the woman was showing us round I felt like I was on Selling Sunset. I think my heart’s set on La Mer.”
Detailing her house hunt, Amber continued: “I’m just figuring out everything. There’s a lot to think about but really exciting times and I’m just gonna try and make loads of money this year because I want to f***ing buy 45 million apartments and just have a house everywhere.”
Anton Danyluk is another former Love Island star who has decided to swap the UK for Dubai, after permanently relocating in 2021.
The 27 year old has been busy creating a successful career as a fitness trainer following his stint on the ITV2 dating show, and has now opened up his own gym, called Junk Dubai, which combines fitness with a ‘party’ experience.
Anton also moved into his own apartment over in Dubai in November, and it appears to be seriously lavish.
The personal trainer’s pad boasts sleek wood flooring and cream walls, with a spacious kitchen area packed with state of the art appliances.
Anton’s living room features a large grey rug with a glass coffee table placed in the centre, alongside a white TV stand with gold ornaments displayed on the top.
Outside, there’s a luxurious hot tub situated on a patio area, making for the perfect spot to relax after a long day.
Reality TV star Georgia Harrison can regularly be found jetting off around the world, so it came as no surprise when she revealed she’d moved to Dubai.
The 27 year old, who hails from Essex, explained that she’d rented out for UK home and moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2021, after people questioned whether she was simply stuck there due to travel restrictions that were in place at the time.
Taking to Instagram, she told her followers: “I rented out my flat, sold my car and moved to Dubai months ago. I’m not stuck here, I live here.”
Georgia previously moved to Los Angeles after her stints on Love Island and Ex on The Beach, but has now settled in Dubai.
