There are thousands of incredible places to see in the world from the mountains of the Alps to the jungles of Brazil.

But, while many of us venture out to explore historical sights, natural beauty and relaxing pools we rarely stay anywhere truly spectacular.

And, it turns out there are plenty of bizarre, breathtaking and down right awe-inspiring places that you can now rent through Airbnb.

Whether you’d rather stay in a glass room to watch the Northern Lights, a ginormous guitar or a treetop castle built from bamboo there’s a unique stay out there for everyone.

This outrageously beautiful property sits in the tropical forest above the Ayung river in Bali and you’ll be surrounded by nature from the get go.

The entire property is up for rent so you won’t be disturbed and there’s a private swimming pool with a breathtaking view.

Two en-suite bedrooms, a large living room and a kitchen are within the property, but don’t worry if you don’t want to cook as there’s also a communal space.

The Airbnb listing states: “Guests may also access our communal space, which includes a natural pool, bamboo pavilion for dining, and our communal kitchen restaurant where guests may order order breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner from a selection of local traditional Balinese and Indonesian favorites and Western cuisine options.

On the other side of the world those looking for snowy views and the best place to spot the Northern Lights should head to this tiny home in Iceland.

Located on a lava desert in the south of the country the cottage provides panoramic views of your surroundings and, of course, the stars.

The isolated cottage is actually only minutes away from the town of Hella and you can drive to all off the attractions nearby.

There’s a fully equipped kitchen, a private hot tub and a terrace.

And, if the aurora borealis does make an appearance you’re bound to see it in all its glory.

Anyone obsessed with Below Deck will be keen to try out this Airbnb which costs around £2639 a night.

Yes, it’s expensive, but it also has enough room for 10 guests meaning that it will cost just £269.30 each for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

There are five bedrooms, five bathrooms and the yacht is moored in the heart of Canary Wharf.

Airbnb stated: “Decorated with high-end style and flair, the yacht is impressively fitted out, with five bedrooms and bathrooms, sun balconies, large rooftop terraces and a lounge that can hold up to 15.

“There’s a VIP double cabin ensuite, two twin cabins with ensuite shower rooms, and crew quarters.

“The bedrooms and bathrooms are superbly decorated, with cherry walnut furniture and handmade mattresses.
