Repeated job site, home building thefts delay construction, drive up costs in Las Cruces

LAS CRUCES, New Mexico — The popular spike in organization crime in Las Cruces is now impacting the price tag of new properties.

Business enterprise owners and city leaders blame the revolving doorway of arrests as a contributing component.

Property builders and position site operators say they have found an increase in criminal offense in the earlier six months to a calendar year.
